Old Wharf
Bespoke double flight staircase designed and fitted into a 19th century wharf building consisting of open rise stained oak treads and landings fixed between metallic powder coated mild steel stringers with laminated toughened glass balustrade to the staircase and around the perimeter openings, fixed though colour matched sheet steel fascias.
The design of the upper flight features a suspended quarter landing which is supported by the upper level glass guardrail panels which are extended down to connect to the steelwork, making the quarter landing appear to float in thin air.
Antigua
Straight flight glass cantilever staircase with cable balustrade mounted on L shaped stainless steel posts.
Brook Farm
Powder coated plate stringer staircase to a U shaped configuration featuring glass treads and landings mounted between the stringers. Frameless glass panel balustrade to the staircase and matching glass panel balustrade to the upper level.
Brotherton
Straight flight timber cantilever staircase with glass panel balustrade and feature mounted stainless steel handrail. Glass panel walkway mounted in stainless steel frames and set on box section beams with glass panel balustrade to one side finished with a stainless steel fascia.
West Wittering
Straight flight timber cantilever staircase with glass panel balustrade supporting solid hardwood handrail. Glass panel balustrade to the upper level mounted in front of feature hardwood fascias.
Clonmell
Straight flight folded tread and rise staircase with wall mounted stainless steel handrail and large one piece independent glass side panel mounted floor to ceiling.
Knutsford
Straight flight timber cantilever staircase with feature mounted stainless steel handrail. Glass panel balustrade to the upper level with plasterboard fascia and matching hardwood capping.
Lambert
L shaped timber cantilever staircase with glass panel balustrade to the upper level straight flight and free floating treads at the lower level. Also incorporating a recessed lit handrail design.
Orlando
Dog leg traditional staircase with prefinished white stringers and soffits, hardwood treads and rise and side mounted glass panel balustrade with matching upper level glass guardrail.
St Maurs
L shaped timber cantilever staircase with straight flight upper section, feature winder treads and lower section supported between structural glass panels.
Upper Green
U shaped timber cantilever staircase with treads cantilevered from a central spine. Glass panel balustrade to the staircase and upper level with a slotted hardwood handrail.
Farm Barn
Open rise timber tread staircase mounted between plate stainless steel stringers with glass panel balustrade and slotted stainless steel handrail. Matching glass panel balustrade to the upper level walkway.
Grove House
U shaped timber cantilever staircase with walnut treads and landing, frameless glass panel balustrade and upper level guardrail with matching hardwood end caps and walnut fascia.
Fonthill Road
Laminated toughened glass balustrade to an external decking area using an aluminium channel recessed into the decking structure. The installation is enhanced by using full length glass panels for each run, with the longest being in excess of 3m. Stainless steel corner brackets add strength and complete the look.
Barons Keep
Floating glass cantilever staircase to a penthouse apartment incorporating two independent, shaped toughened glass panel balustrade panels running from floor to ceiling, set approximately 50mm off the end of the glass treads.
Glen View
Open rise feature staircase based on powder coated PFC channel stringers supporting open rise hardwood box treads. The stringers featured an oak infill section and the balustrade to the staircase and upper level consisted of mild steel box section uprights supporting a shaped mild steel handrail with circular section mild steel mid rail running beneath, all powder coated to a matt black finish.
The design incorporated hidden supports thereby eliminating the need for supporting newel posts in the corners and allowing the upper and lower mid landings to apparently float un-supported.
Woodside
Closed rise oak spiral staircase featuring a one piece 40m thick composite oak helical stringer with stainless steel uprights supporting a solid oak oval section handrail, with matching guardrail to the upper level
Countryside
Floating timber tread cantilever staircase set against a feature clad internal wall within a stunning contemporary modern new build house. The treads feature a recessed shadow gap at the junction of the wall and support toughened glass panel balustrade at the other end. Handrail to the staircase was formed using square section stainless steel set on proprietary stainless steel brackets.
Upper level guardrail to the perimeter of the atrium void consisted of frameless toughened laminated glass panels set in a channel, recessed into the floor structure.

Brook House
Zig-zag profile feature staircase with single piece laminated toughened
glass panel balustrade and LED lighting. The staircase was set approximately 60mm off of the wall allowing the recessed LED lighting tocreate some amazing shadow effects.
Maida Avenue
Replacement glass guardrail to an existing opening. The new owner of this house wanted to replace the existing plywood guardrail with glass panels to update the property and increase the light flow down into the basement. We undertook a laser survey of the area which gave us the information required to form the curved glass panels from templates and the sweeping painted oak handrail which sits on top.
Bristol
Double flight oak tread helical joinery staircase with straight flight sections connected by a helical winder section between. The staircase is set off the wall with the only fixings being at the top and bottom rise. Guardrail will be curved plasterboard and skin by others to a softwood framework.
Bishops Court
Straight flight open rise staircase incorporating a powder coated mild steel central support spine, light oak box treads, toughened glass balustrade and a solid oak handrail.
Astmans Farm
Elegant light oak floating cantilever staircase with joinery winder plinth at the base.
Our cantilever support system is secretly fixed floor to floor, independent of any wall support.
Glass balustrade to the staircase is capped with a sleek stainless steel handrail and the guardrail continues along the edge of the gallery upstairs with a 4m length of glass, in one piece, fixed via a solid oak, single piece fascia.
Breach Cottage
Beautiful floating tread cantilever staircase with Ash treads, toughened glass balustrade and a ‘U’ shaped slim profile anodized aluminium handrail mounted on top of the glass.
The treads themselves include our trademark discreet aluminium nosing along the leading edge and are recessed at the wall end to create a neat shadow gap detail.
Matching end cover caps complete the look.
We also designed and installed matching glass balustrade, set in an aluminium side fixed channel to both sides of the 10m walkway, with the channel finished with a sleek stainless steel cover fascia.
Sandy Lane
Exquisite central spine staircase with beautiful black powder coated central spine complimented by contemporary black stained oak treads.
The treads include our discreet aluminium nosing to the leading edge and incorporate LEDs to bring the stair to life.
A feature of this staircase is the way the treads wrap around the central spine with no visible fixing; almost resting on the spine itself.
One piece laminated glass panels are fixed to both sides with the fixings hidden behind matching black stained oak cover caps.
Radlet
Our latest feat of design is this amazing, light staircase which uses a single piece of structural glass as the support for the treads.
The white mild steel stringer disappears against the white painted walls, leaving the treads to extend and be supported by the large structural glass panel on the end. This panel rests on the floor and extends up to form the balustrade to the staircase.
The treads, separated by a full glass riser, are stained oak, designed to be as thin as possible and colour matched to the parquet floor.
LED strips are fitted into the leading edge of the treads and also into the nosing at upper floor level.
First floor glass guardrail continues around the opening, with an elegant satin polished stainless steel fascia completing the look.
